Kate Beebe graduated from Bay Path University with a degree in Communications. She has lived all her life in Ludlow, Massachusetts and graduated Ludlow High School in 2017. After taking a graphic design class in high school became interested in design. She spent her first half of college attending a school in New York City where she took multiple film classes and explored everything that the city had to offer. Kate transferred to Bay Path University at the beginning of her junior year in the fall of 2019. Here she was able to create many videos, improve her writing skills, and layout many articles on the design website Canva by being apart of the school run news magazine publication "Network News".  She was also able to complete a self study project where she took ten masterclasses (on masterclass.com) and was able to further learn about video editing. She also has knowledge in iMovie where she will occasionally edit videos just for fun and Canva where she furthers her experience in content creation/graphic design.

 

Most recently Kate was a social media manager for Killer Shorts Horror Screenwriting Competition where writers would enter horror scripts to be judged by top horror industry professionals.  Here she learned the ins and outs of being a social media manager like posting, interacting with followers, replying to direct messages, and interacting with others posts. 

 

In her free time Kate enjoys listening to music and watching movies. Her favorite musical artists include Taylor Swift and K-pop girl groups. When talking about movies her favorites include Lady Bird and 2020 Best Picture winner Parasite. Someone that Kate admires is filmmaker and screenwriter Greta Gerwig who wrote and directed films like Lady Bird, 2019 Little Women, and 2024 Barbie.
